WHO I AM

I’m Sandra E S , a house surgeon ( MBBS ) at Government Medical College and ESI Hospital , Coimbatore , with a growing focus on digital visibility for healthcare professionals.

I’m currently training in digital marketing while continuing my medical journey – intentionally building skills at the intersection of medicine , technology , and patient trust.

WHAT I OBSERVED DURING MY MEDICAL TRAINING

During my medical training and hospital postings , I noticed something that kept repeating :

Patients are no longer choosing doctors only through referrals.

They are choosing based on Google search results, clinic websites , and online presence.

Yet many skilled doctors and well-run clinics remain invisible online – not because they lack competence , but because they lack digital visibility. 

At the same time , healthcare marketing is increasingly being handled by people outside the medical field , who may not fully understand :

  • medical ethics
  • patient sensitivity
  • professional boundaries in healthcare.

This gap matters.

WHY HEALTHCARE NEEDS DOCTORS WHO UNDERSTAND TECHNOLOGY

The future of healthcare should not be shaped entirely by people who don’t come from healthcare.

Doctors who understand technology, digital systems, and how patients search for care bring far more credibility and responsibility to online healthcare communication.

Healthcare visibility isn’t just about promotion – it’s about:

  • trust
  • clarity
  • ethical representation

A doctor who understands both medicine and digital systems is better positioned to protect that balance,

That’s the space I’m intentionally stepping into.

WHY I CHOSE DIGITAL MARKETING

To build this skill set properly, I trained through the Entri App’s Digital Marketing Executive Certificate Program, a structured and reliable learning platform focused on practical implementation, not just theory.

Through this training, I realised something important :

The world of digital systems, online behaviour, and technology is far bigger than what we are exposed to during medical training – and it shouldn’t stay unfamiliar to doctors.

Understanding how patients search, decide, and trust in online is becoming a necessary skill, not an optional one.

WHAT I DO

I’m currently building experience by working closely with doctors, understanding real clinic needs, and applying simple, effective strategies that support long-term growth, not short-term hype.

MY GOAL

To help doctors grow online without compromising ethics, trust, or clinical integrity – and to be part of a future where healthcare professionals are digitally empowered, not digitally dependent.
